During his long career he worked on many projects, some of which were well known in Portugal (this is at least what he says- I'm not living in Portugal and also don't have time to see if it's true or not ;-)).

David claims that he has been a designer since he was a kid and that he dedicated his life to the creativity. And I can surely say that this is true after looking at all the works presented in the portfolio.

Carvalho has had many different alter egos (aliases) for different artistic periods of his life. The previous one, Electroclandestino was killed by Karpa- "<The world was too small for the both of us>, he said before pulling the trigger"

Interesting personality, equally (or even more) interesting works. Enough to appear in the Blastyle Blog- the super incredible blog about amazing design.
---------------------

It's not my fault that there are many good designers living in this beautiful country and they are present in the international design blogs and websites.

I don't remember exactly where I first encountered the works made by Kacper Spala. However, I remember that it was this beautiful black and white photo manipulation that you can see in the picture number 1. The amount of details and the perfection of this image is stunning and I couldn't take my eyes away from it.

Evolved.pl is a neat portfolio where you can find more works related to the photo manipulation, abstract art, posters and corporate id. By chance I found that thing: sixbf dot com (I am not writing the full link here so that google won't index it)

I was so surprised to see that there are all of my posts with the pictures there. What was even more funny the images are all pointing to my server so the bandwidth is also stolen. Nice job mr Spammer!

As far as I could figure it out, the engine of that splog (spam blog) copies all the rss feeds from my blog and places them there. I would be happy to see this post there as well :). And here is the small thumbnail of the way it looks. Which one is better? Blastyle blog or that "just another wordpress weblog"?

Should I feel happy / satisfied with the popularity of my blog and its content?
---------------------

Since 2002 they have been working on the project which combines their ideas of Magic Luck Friendship with different areas of art.

Their website is so sweet and joyful- smiling clouds, shiny colourful buttons, plenty of nice interaction with the user. In my opinion this website is pleasant to watch and browse both for small children and adults and this is the biggest success of it. You can find there many nice examples of their works: toys, images, logos, installations. Most of them of course depict funny creatures- everything is filled with the ideas of Magic Luck Friendship.

In a shop you can buy toys, books and stickers. the selection is quite big and I would really like to have some of the goodies found there- would you like to buy something for me?
---------------------

He seems to be most famous for the project called "The adaption to my generation - a daily photo project". The project started in 1998 and starting from this time JK Keller was shooting a photo of himself and in this way he tried to observe the differences in his appearance throughout the days, weeks and months. And actually he has changed a lot- you can have a look at the whole collection of photos here. If you're impatient and don't want to spend all your life browsing through the thousands of photos you can watch the video "Living my life faster" which sums up 8 years of the daily photo project.

Actually browsing through the various projects of JK Keller I found many others which are also very original. "Spam abstractions" is the combination of 100 hundred spam emails with the text deleted and you can see the result below.

Spam abstractions

The last project I found extremely interesting (yeah, you can call me a geek). However, it might be too complicated for me to explain how those images were created so let me just paste the explanation that I found on the site of this project made by the author:

"(...)But to answer your first query: how it works. The app that I wrote visits a website and downloads the source text. It parses the text, looking for links to other web pages, links to itself, links to other file types, email addresses, etc. Based on how many links it finds, it creates a “star”. The number of links found equals the number of spines on the “star”. Thus, if it finds no links, it draws a circle.

It then goes to the first link on the page and does the same thing. Then it iterates over thousands of pages. E-mail addresses are drawn as a plus-sign, errors are an ‘x’, non-html files are squares, and a line follows the path the program took.

Another caveat: The first instance of a web page is a unique star. Anytime the app finds that same page linked to by another page, it draws a line back to the originating star instead of another star.(...)"

---------------------

There is plenty more than what is presented above. Some are quite scary, for example the image presenting melted elderly woman's face.. Brrr, it's too horrifying and real to be put on my blog. ;)

Overall, the works are enjoyable. However, the website itself looks quite old fashioned and there is a big need for making it more pleasant for the viewers- I think Nik could get even more interest from people then if it looked more fancy. The other thing is that his portfolio looks to be quite popular- Nicholas is boasting of hundreds of thousands visitors. Congratulations, Mr Ainley and I look forward to seeing more cool works there.
---------------------

Now apart from working as Christopher's portfolio it has transformed into a kind of a community with other editors involved.

What is more interesting for me are the Christopher's works. The ones presented above is just a small fraction of the art works that can be found on his changethethought.com. The style of them seems to be very brave and original- there is a lot of experimenting with colours, shapes and combining many concepts. The artworks are divided into many categories: print, illustration, web, type and personal works. Many of these categories are filled with works of the best quality. I find the whole portfolio very inspiring, it's a shame that I couldn't put more of the images here. Check it yourself.
---------------------

I was looking into using the 3D models into standard 2D illustrations and images. Then I just stumbled upon the image that you can see at the top. I was amazed and that is why I had to save Cristiano's portfolio in my bookmarks. Today I looked at it again and decided that his works are worth showing in my blog.

Many of works of Mr Siqueira are very comic-like- it seems very true and justified since this is how it all started for him. Cristiano (born in Sao Paulo, Brazil) started by redrawing comic books. Then he sunk deep into the world of design and illustration. He gained experience in professional work and he is working independently in his own studio.

Undoubtedly Cristiano Siqueira has developed his own style, visible especially in the illustrations and images of 3D models.
---------------------

Is it my fault that they create amazing works and that they are popular in the designers' world? I hope you will agree with me that the works presented above are worth looking at and presenting here in my decent blastyle blog.

Vivid colours, amazing shapes and lines and care for details- in short about his style.

In his portfolio you can find advertising and branding works that he made for international companies. He did many works for Nokia and Nike, but other companies and organisations include Fanta, Unicef, Oakley, British Airways. He also designed a some music album covers (in portfolio you can find the cover for the album of Polish hip-hop artist, Pezet).

Peter Jaworowski works currently in Ars Thanea, creative studio based in Warsaw.
---------------------

In the previous posts you can find dontclick.it (extremely interesting project) and the posters by Scholz & Friends Advertising Agency.

Now it's time for Alex Forster and his 3-D graffiti-styled portfolio.
vegaone.de

Some of the works are really interesting, take a look yourself.

The style that Alex has reminds me of graphical masterpieces made by Maciej Mizer (mosk.pl )-I wrote about him some time ago..

The portfolio of Alex Forster looks like that:

Nice, isn't it?
---------------------

The simplicity of colours and nicely contrasting white shapes made of music notes and lines creates amazing effects.

The authors of these works work for the Advertising Agency: Scholz & Friends based in Berlin.

I digged that design out from adsoftheworld.com
---------------------

Last time I have made a mistake and put Alex Trochut's works instead of Mikis'.

I wouldn't even realize that if Mikis didn't tell me that himself. Now it's time for you Michael and a couple of your works. In the previous post I just edited text and put Alex Trochute's name. Enjoy the works of Mikis on his portfolio mikisraoul.com
---------------------
